This half term was a fantastic one filled with enrichment and enjoyment of learning! Our class covered their topic of, ‘A Kingdom United’ which encompassed learning around the Anglo Saxons, The United Kingdom and Legends of the British Isles. The class also had lessons in Music (Livin’ on a Prayer singing and Glockenspiels), French (Introducing ourselves, responding to questions, colours and numbers), Christianity (Where can people find guidance on how to live their lives?), PSHE (Relationships) & PE (Invasion Games). The children enjoyed their postponed Ancient Egypt Theme day which was rearranged due to last summer’s heatwave, their fact recall was astounding! We love sticky learning! The children were invited to a workshop at the local library and each child completed their Bikeability course (Level 1 and Level 2). Within inter-school competitions, some of our Y5 children represented the school through an inclusion multiskilsl event and football.
