Our class was thrilled to have yet another visit from the author, Dan Worsley! After marvelling in his storytelling, the children were challenged to recall descriptive details about a nasty character to inspire them to create their own evil pirate!
On Wednesday, the children met Andrew Larrington from the Dogs Trust. The class completed their workshop on building confidence, mutual respect, dog handling and asking for owner’s consent before stroking.

MEOW! The class completed a short write opportunity based on their English focus text, The Mousehole Cat. In the role of Mowzer, the children wrote a diary entry expressing how she felt about the Great Storm Cat and her concern about losing her pet, Old Tom.
