This week in Maths, we have been looking at capacity, and using different equipment to measure amounts. This has helped us to develop our understanding by solving problems practically.
On Wednesday morning, we were lucky enough to be able to participate in an orienteering course organised by Mrs Boon. This was a great opportunity to get outdoors, developing our teamwork and problem-solving skills. Also, this was a timed activity, so we could see how long it took us to complete. We had some SPEEDY PAIRS in Class 1!
In our Science lesson, we went on an adventure through the school grounds, to see if we could spot different types of trees. We used our tree identification key to help us and looked closely at their leaves. Many of us were even able to apply our knowledge from last week, where we focused on the different parts of the tree.
