Welcome to the year two class page and to the start of a new academic year. 

This is a super half-term with lots of fun learning to be done!

Throughout the year - and at all times - there are lots of adults who are always here to help the children with their learning.  These adults are:

Miss Spencer (class teacher)

Mrs Darcy (teaching assistant Monday to Thursday)

Miss Thompson (teaching assistant Monday to Friday and PPA cover on Tuesday afternoons).

During the first half of the Autumn Term, our class topic is The place where we live and this will involve lots of learning about the history of our area.  Please look at the link below to see the overview of our learning for this half term. 

Our shared text this half-term is Way home for wolf by Rachel Bright. This is a lovely story of friendship and the children will be creating their own narratives based on this text.

We are really looking forward to getting to know all of the class and to be part of their learning journey this year.
