Our wonderful team of Y3 staff aspire to make every second count and to embed our happiness at the heart school motto.

Year 3 is supported by:

During the first half of the summer term, our class topic is, 'What the Romans did for us'.

Spring 2 ended with a science fair which showcased the class' investigation into microclimates and weather tracking, testing the impact of different surfaces on a moving object and furthering their My Happy Mind module by testing Neuroplasicity and the power of perception. Year 3 have thoroughly enjoyed learning about Volcanoes and Earthquakes and will explore the Skeleton and Movement in Science this half term! They were thrilled that History features again within our block teaching and are looking forward to exploring Roman Britain which will finish with a school trip in summer 2 to the Ribchester Roman Museum.
